Fancy Coloured Diamonds
While the aspects of carat, clarity
and cut apply to all diamonds, fancy coloured diamonds are
graded on a special colour scale taking into account intensity
and hue. Hue is the colour of the stone, which can be a single
colour or a combination of colours.
The strength or intensity of the colour can range from pale
pastel to deep dark colours.
